An International Love Story: Louis English Makes a Move on The Glenlivet

In his latest work, Visionaries-repped Louis English plays cupid, and tells the love story of a lifetime.

Against the stunning backdrop of Jamaica, a Scottish traveller falls for a charming local as they try to one-up each other in a playful game of seduction.

The film is a romantic metaphor for the blend of flavours in the 12 Year Old Jamaica Edition - the inaugural single malt in The Glenlivet’s new ‘Beyond Speyside’ series of whiskeys.

Louis’ cinematic flair turns what could be a straightforward sell into something far more artistic and affecting, an endearing film with a story that could stand on its own. The blend of composed static shots and more spontaneous, handheld camera work reminds us that life - just like The Glenlivet - is better enjoyed neat.

Louis said: “Still pinching myself that I got to make this. Grateful to have had the chance, and even more grateful to the amazing team who put their heart into every frame. Couldn’t have asked for better people to bring this together.”

Your move.
